Breakfast Briefing with Ambassador Thomas Pickering

Please join the Ridgway Center for a breakfast briefing with Ambassador Thomas Pickering of the Iran Project on Wednesday, Nov. 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the University Club, Conference Room A (take the elevator to the 3rd Floor), 123 University Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.  Ambassador Pickering will focus on the important topic of whether the Iran Deal can survive.

Ambassador Pickering served more than four decades as a U.S. diplomat. He last served as undersecretary of state for political affairs, the third highest post in the U.S. State Department. He also served as ambassador to the United Nations, the Russian Federation, India, Israel, and Jordan. Ambassador Pickering holds the rank of Career Ambassador.

This event is co-sponsored by the Iran Project, the World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh, the University of Pittsburgh's University Center for International Studies, and the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.
